In the auspicious occasion of Christian Wedding, an unexpected spark is kindled by the innovative Bridal Shower Games. Bridal showers are no longer restricted to the fairer sex. Nowadays, the fun and enthusiasm of bridal shower games are experienced by the bride and groom along with their couple friends.
The bridal shower games are indeed an icebreaker since this will help to breach the gap between the guests. Play some traditional music to set the tone of the ceremony. Stay away from too personal topics of the game since the guests might feel shy to unfold their views. The guests would love to enjoy such theme-based, activity centric wedding parties. The Bridal Shower Games will render equal opportunity to the guests for winning prizes.
You can take a look at some of the Bridal Shower Games:
Hot Potato:
The guests will gather in a circle. A box will be handed over to the guests that they will pass among them until the music is stopped. Whoever will hold the box while the music will stop will have to wear the contents present within the box. You might be a lucky one to wear a floral corsage.
Toilet Paper Wedding Dress:
It is one of the most exciting games played at bridal showers. Divide the guests into group of three. All the teams will be equipped with four rolls of white toilet paper. Every team will select a bride and proceed for designing a dress and drape the bride within the specified time. The team bride would then parade before the guests. The guests would then judge by voting for the prettiest bridal gown.
A Wedding Word Scramble:
Find out 10 to 15 words related to wedding like wedding dress, church, flowers and rings and jumble them. Give the guests at least 10 minutes to find out the correct words. The person who spells the maximum words becomes the winner.
Door Prize
When guests come, let them fill a piece of paper mentioning their wedding date or their birthday, if they are single. The person whose date is closest to the wedding date of the bride becomes the winner.
The Spice Game
Just take about ten bottles of spices or herbs by covering the labels. Make the guests smell the herbs or spices. Then make the guests guess the herbs and spices. One who provides most of the correct answers will keep the spices or return them to the bride.
Bridal Couples:
Make a list of one half of famous couple, both real and fictitious. Your list might include Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Baucall, Michael Douglas and Katherine Zeta Jones, Popeye and Olive Oyl, Napoleon and Josephine, George W Bush and Laura, Nelson and Lady Hamilton, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, Homer and Marg Simpson, Prince Ranier and Grace Kelley, Father Christmas and Mary Christmas, Al Gore and Tipperand; a lot more. Then allow the guests to find out the other half of couple. Make them write the answers on a sheet of paper and the participant with the maximum correct answers will receive a small prize.
Your experience of the nuptial ceremony will be a fun-filled and an ecstatic one with these games.
